Kabar gembira buat para penggemar band asal Los Angeles, California yang satu ini. Yap, Maroon 5 segera menggebrak Istora Senayan, Jakarta, tepatnya 27 April 2011. Melalui akun Twitter @JAVAmusikindo, bos dari promotor Java Musikindo, Adrie Subono mengumumkan berita gembiranya pagi ini.

Setelah sekian lama dinanti, akhirnya Adrie Subono berhasil merayu Adam Levine, James Valentine, Jesse Carmichael, Michael Madden dan Matt Flynn untuk menyambangi Indonesia. Ini adalah kali pertama pelantun tembang This Love tersebut datang ke Jakarta.
"Maroon 5 To Perform in Jakarta for the 1st time!" tulis Maroon 5 melalui akun Twitter mereka, @maroon5.
Tiket konser ini sendiri akan dibanderol dengan harga Rp.600.000 (tribun) dan Rp.800.000 (festival). Serunya lagi, Java Musikindo akan memberikan potongan harga hingga 100 ribu rupiah bagi kalian pembeli tiket pertama dalam jumlah yang terbatas.

Berita sold out- nya penjualan tiket konser Maroon 5 ini sampai juga ke telinga Adam Levine, sang frontman. Levine cukup antusias, dan makin nggak sabar buat ngeliat crowd penggemarnya di Jakarta.
"Thanks to our amazing Indonesian fans, our first show ever over there sold out in one day! We can't wait to see you guys out there!", tulisnya Levine dalam akun Twitter-nya.

Foto Adam Levine Vokalis Maroon 5 baru-baru ini beredar di internet mengenai foto tanpa menggunakan sehelai benang alias tanpa pakaian. Menurut informasi foto Adam Levine tersebut di gunakan unuk amal. Dan foto yang beredar di pamerkan dengan tubuh atletis penuh tato hanya ditutupi tangan seorang wanita.
Dalam Foto Vokalis Maroon 5 nampak berpose dengan badan atletis dengan di tutupi dengan tangan di bagian bawahnya dan yang menutupi adalah tangan seorang wanita yang merupakan kekasihnya sendiri yakni aitu model Victoria's Secret, Anne Vyalitsyna.
Vokalis Maroon 5 itu berfoto untuk menimbulkan kesadaran dengan tujuan menggalang dana untuk memerangi kanker prostat dan kanker testis. Foto dan artikel mengenai aksi amalnya dapat dilihat di Majalah Cosmopolitan Inggris edisi Februari 2011.

I remember telling parents last year, I said "If Maroon 5 come to Malaysia, I am so going or I will run away from home and beg for money". HAHA, yes I am quite the drama child aren't I?
I guess they don't want me running away from home, because they paid for half of my ticket. I am joking. Before you go thinking " what a spoil brat, parents had to pay for her ticket," here's my explanation:
Well, I did save up for the concert, but I was so excited for Maroon 5, that I invested on an outfit even before buying the tickets thinking that I'd be able to save up enough and buy it after, apparently NOT. :P
That's why they had to pay for half of it :P
But heck, I am so excited, I don't know what to do but count the days!

Okay so I promise to give you guys a full report after the concert. I have a strange feeling it is going to be AMAZINGBALLS.
So anyway, today was the first day of college & it had to start at 9am.
It's been two weeks since I woke up to study, and truth to be told, I was not ready to study.
Holiday withdrawal ;)
BUT, instead of giving my undivided attention to my lecturer, I made plans with XinHui.
We then had lunch in Cappriciosa, an Italian restaurant in Sunway Pyramid, where our neighbour worked at. It was fun catching up with XH. The thought of her leaving to study abroad made me feel ill at ease.
She is my jogging partner, my kindergarden friend. I swear, I had an epic Tamil movie scene run through my head, with the flashbacks on our friendship.
She wants to settle there and live her life there and I respect that decision of hers, but I will surely and definitely miss her to bits.
Sigh, life is amazing in so many ways. It brings us close to someone, then it takes them away, teaching us to be strong.
Well I am a big girl, and I made XH promise that, I'd be the first one she meets up with when she comes back to visit :)
After my lunch date with XinHui, Jey picked me up to hang out.
I love hanging out with Jey, it's just so much fun. HAHA.
He is my bestfriend, who so happens to be my other bestfriend's boyfriend's bestfriend.
It's because of my bestfriend and her boyfriend that Jey and I became bestest friends in the whole world, LOL.

Sunway Pyramid had this beautiful idea of making Cranes for the tsunami/earthquake victims in Japan, so I thought, WHY NOT?
